As 2024 ended, we found ourselves in a space of reflection over a number of extremely hard, heart wrecking and difficult endings contrasted with God-story reunions and divinely appointed friendships coming full circle and back into our lives.
Having been in the rhythm of picking a name of God, or a word for the year for quite awhile now, I continued reflecting on:
where we have walked in 2024,
and what we feel we are called to in 2025.
Intentional
had been my word for 2024,
and as I sat with what God was calling me to in 2025,
I have repeatedly heard this...
Holiness
A call back to the call...
A call back to simple, quiet, deep, life altering connection...
A call back to creating space for more of Him...
A call back to the roots of what brought me to this place and space in the beginning ...
Intentional was more about God being intentional with me, than me being intentional myself. When God brings these words to mind, we have no idea what the actual walking out is going to look like. I think if we did, we'd send the word back for a new one because we can't possibly imagine being called to walk in the space that He has for us. God has been so good in bringing about and walking me through spaces I could not have seen or prepared for, spaces that were preparation for what would be and what is coming down the road.
As I am sitting in the "even if", and continually surrender this thing called life here on earth, what I get back is so far beyond what I could ever have imagined. When we sit in the hard, and we take the next step, and we trust the process in obedience, He is always faithful to bring what He has promised to fruition.
In 2025, we pray more of Him over all of you....
We pray that as you find more of Him, you find the you He created you to be...
We pray beauty for ashes for all the hard spaces where you have walked...
We pray a deep, abiding LOVE washes over you and that you know that you are fully known, and fully loved at the core of your being, no strings attached...
UNCONDITIONALLY LOVED
We are thankful for the ones who God has brought into our lives to walk with us this year and in the years ahead...
Even
as we have grieved hard and deep over the ones who no longer are walking this road with us...
We look ahead to the pieces of the puzzle that God is and has been all along dropping into place, and we are speechless as we experience his Goodness, and Tenderness, and Love that He has poured out on us. If you have journeyed with us in the past, if you are journeying with us now, if you plan to journey with us this year, we pray nothing but love for and towards you. We pray that as we walk together, you experience feeling loved, known, and seen by us now and in the days ahead.
